Ultrasonic Analyzer is a comprehensive tool available for iPhone and iPad that offers real-time spectrum, spectrogram, oscilloscope, and octave RTA analysis. With a high sampling rate of up to 384kHz, this application provides users with a visual representation of various ultrasounds. One standout feature is the ability to listen to transposed ultrasounds and analyze them in real-time. Additionally, the option for slowed-down playback allows users to perceive sounds that are typically inaudible.

One of the practical applications of Ultrasonic Analyzer is its capacity to analyze animal calls, such as those of bats and dolphins. Moreover, it can be utilized to measure the frequency response of high-end audio equipment or ultrasonic sensors. Users can also import audio files for analysis within a spectrogram context.

The app boasts a range of features including various sampling rates, transposed ultrasound listening during recording, spectrogram and spectrum analysis, full FFT window size oscilloscope, octave RTA analysis with different bands, SPL meter, fast real-time response, and customizable settings for spectrogram frequency resolution and FFT computations time interval. It supports multiple window sizes, recording triggers based on specific frequency bands, and offers features like zooming, panning, value measurements in charts, playback analysis, transposition during playback, slow-down playback, and picture-in-picture viewing for simultaneous chart analysis.

Furthermore, Ultrasonic Analyzer allows audio input via the built-in microphone or an external microphone connected through a USB camera adapter or iPhone/iPad dock connector. Users can easily share charts and audio recordings via email, social networks, or clipboard and export them to the iOS Document Browser with iCloud support. Importing audio files in various formats like WAV, CAF, AAC, and MP3 is simplified with automatic sampling rate conversion.

With compatibility confirmed with devices such as Dodotronic Ultramic200K, Ultramic250K, Ultramic384K, Pettersson M500-384, and Avisoft-UltraSoundGate 116Un when connected via USB camera adapter, the app ensures accurate analysis results for users. To optimize performance, always ensure that your iOS device is updated to the latest version.
